The academician Georgy Georgiev in his article “How to Evaluate the Institute of Sciences Right” suggested estimating institutes primarily on the basis of independent research units: laboratories, departments and research groups. According to Mr. Georgiev, “the sum of group estimations plus some additional information about an institute will give full information about its activity effectiveness”. This suggestion was supported by the head of the Organization of Innovative Activity Department of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Natalia Kuryakova. |
