Regional examination center ICM

Examinations of ICM (The Institute of Commercial Management, UK) are professional qualifying examinations followed by receipt of international standards certificates.

Variants of passing examinations:

1. Separate examinations in chosen specialities (Single Subject Examination). After having successfully passed every examination a student receives a certificate about passing a qualifying exam with a mark (Single Subject Diploma). If a student passes any four examinations he can receive a group certificate - Business Studies Group Certificate. If he passes any eight exams – he receives Business Studies Group Diploma.

2. Groups of exams for receiving certificates (3-5 exams) and diplomas (8-10 exams) of the Institute of Commercial Management in the following specialities:

Schedule of examination sessions:

Examination sessions are hold four times a year – in March, June, September and December. The results of exams are published in 3-4 weeks’ time on ICM web-site, and the certificates are delivered by post in 10-12 weeks from the moment of providing a written examination work. The examination board which consists of representatives of the most famous higher schools of Great Britain and 20 countries of the world estimates examination works in every subject in accordance with international standards.

The activities of the Institute of Commercial Management cover the following spheres:

technical support, consulting services, training courses of corporate and private clients in the sphere of trade, tourism and professional development;
arranging consultations with financial support from the European Union, Eurobank, World Bank, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, IFC and World Association of Tourism;
Development of educational programmes whose diplomas are accepted by the largest organizations all over the world.

Cooperating with educational institutions all over the world, ICM offers to pass exams and receive professional diplomas and certificates I the following spheres:

Finance and banking
Management in different spheres
Marketing
International trade
Business administration
Public relations
Tourism and hotel business
Law
Computer technologies, etc.

Study programmes and examination materials for all subjects are worked out by ICM Training-Development Council together with the Industrial Council basing on the analysis of a contemporary specialist’s requirements. There is a number of specialties for which ICM executes orders of government authorities and works out special programmes of professional training for personnel.

MIRBIS received the status of Regional Examination Center of the Institute of Commercial Management in Russia in 1994 and is now the only ICM center in Russia.
