Startup Weekend has successfully followed the format  of  50 cities in 12 countries of the world already. Since 2007 – the first Startup Weekend if the Silicon Valley – the idea of the event remains the same.

Startup Weekend will take place in MIRBIS, April 9-11^th 2010. This year MIRBIS is the official partner of the event.

What is Startup Weekend and how does it take place? About 100-150 professionals and entrepreneurs of different specializations get together in a big hall, among them marketing managers, IT-specialists, salesmen, designers, project managers and others. They choose the most interesting business ideas and split into groups, which would be in charge of implementing these ideas. Whether they complete the task in two days or not, they acquire valuable experience and unforgettable impressions. Startup Weekend can help you find your dream team. You have an opportunity to meet famous experts face to face and to engage them in your project. During only one weekend the participants get a practical understanding of what a startup is, how it appears and evolves. Numerous participants find partners for future project development
