Business event

On April 15^th 2010 an International conference on “Problems and perspectives of the Islamic finances and international currency-credit relations and financial relations” took place in the Finance Academy (University) governed by the Government of the Russian Federation .

The topics of the reports and discussions embraced a wide range of subjects –from the history of modern Islamic banking, the experience of Islamic institutions in different countries around the world (i.e. Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan ), etc.

During the conference the presentations were made by the graduates of the first programme  “Islamic finances”  MIRBIS programme:

-         “Legal provision of the Islamic financing bargains in Russia” – N. Tkachev , legal consultant, JSC “Transtelecombusiness”

-         “Latest tendencies of the sykyk market” – S. Iskakov , specialist, “Credit Euro Bank”

-         “Islamic financing operations record in the system of records, applied by the Russian enterprises” – I. Horoshilova, the head of the planning-budget department, JSC “HTB PLUS”

After the conference guests from Kazakhstan delivered a lecture to 2-nd-year students of  “Islamic finances” programme on “Problems of implementing of Islamic finances technologies (Takaful) in the Republic of Kazakhstan ”.

 “Islamic finances” is the first professional development course focused on Islamic values in business in Russian business education. The project was designed by the MIRBIS Arab center together with the Council of Muftias of Russia.
