Ratings

MIRBIS business school orientates the development of its relations with professional organizations and mass media to informational openness.

MIRBIS participates in all ratings that are held regularly by public and professional organizations. Each rating is based on different criteria and different methodology is used both for separate programs and business schools as a whole. Unfortunately, it is impossible to make a rating in Russia similar to western samples which are based on graduates’ income growth. Students and graduates are not ready to disclose such information.

Having analyzed this data we still can see that MIRBIS always takes leading positions in spite of the criterion chosen by the mass media.

We are always open for various types of information thus we offer ratings of business schools where MIRBIS does not always take the 1st line. We hope that our selection of business school ratings could help you.

2011

1. According to the annual Russian ranking of business schools of the "Finance.” magazine / / № 19 (398) 30.05-05.06.2011, the MIRBIS Institute re-appeared in the TOP-5 in key categories:

• 1st place – the leader in the number of Russian lecturers, lecturing abroad
• 2nd place – the leader in the number of conducted corporate programmes
• 2nd place  - the leader in the amount of estimated earning from principal activity
   (minimal declared education fee to the number of students)
• 2nd place – the leader in the number of foreign students

2. According to the rating of the Economic Strategies Institute and the Orthodox Entrepreneurs Club, published in the magazine "Economic Strategy" / / № 3 / 2011, Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS (Institute) was the only business school in Russia, which was included in the list of 50 largest socially oriented Russian companies.For this ranking the method developed by the experts under the requirements of the International Standard ISO 26000 was used.

3. MIRBIS took the 2nd place in the Integral rating "Business Schools: Sustainable Leadership". MBA Today, March 11, 2011

2010

4. According to the annual Russian ranking of business schools in the "Finance.” magazine / / № 18 (349) 24-30.05.2010, the MIRBIS Institute was acknowledged:

• the leader in the sustainable demand from the students;
• the market leader in the amount of earning from principal activity;
• the market leader in the number of conducted corporate programmes

5. In April 2010, MIRBIS occupied the first position in the TOP-5 Russian business schools according to the League of MBA.

6. According to the results of the readership inquiry by the "Personnel Management Handbook " magazine  in 2010 the MIRBIS Institute became the leader of business education in training of HR-specialists.

7. The 3rd place in Russia, according to the data of the independent rating agency Eduniversal. At the annual conference in South Africa, the results of the international rating of 1000 world best business schools were announced. For the second year running the Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS was elected to the highest category in Russia (one of only 4 schools). Independent experts ranked MIRBIS the third after Business Schools of St. Petersburg and Moscow universities.

1st place: in the number of students simultaneously studying on MBA programmes;
1st  place: in the number of businessmen, conducting lectures and workshops;
1st place: in the number of corporate programmes for the period April 2008 - April 2009;
1st place: in the number of MBA specializations - programmes with the possibility of obtaining double degree;
2nd place: in the number of full-time teachers;
2nd place: in the percentage of international students (in the total number of students);
3rd place: in the number of MBA graduates.

10. The 2nd place in Russia (after the St. Petersburg State University School of Management) in the international influence in the global higher education according to the International Association of Business Schools Eduniversal. According to the results of 1000 BS deans and rectors vote MIRBIS received 210 votes. Certificate of conferring to MIRBIS the status of Internationally Known Top Business School was awarded in spring 2008.

11. The 1st place in the rating of business schools of the "Secret firmy" magazine (№ 37 (269), 22-29 September 2008), in the opinion of employers.

12. The 1st place in the rating of business schools in the "Finance." magazine (№ 19 (254)б Мау 19-25б 2008)

Awards:

• The Mirbis Rector Stanislav Savin on behalf of the Grand Princess Maria Vladimirovna, Head of the Russian Imperial House and Supreme Headmistress of Russian Imperial and Royal Orders (Mary I), was awarded the Charter for ensuring military security of Russia and for valuable work for strengthening its power. The Charter gives the right to wear the order of St. Nicholas III, and the personal noble dignity.
   

• Stanislav Savin, the MIRBIS Rector, became a laureate in the category "FACE OF EDUCATION" in the rating of the Economic Strategies Institute "Personalities of the Century: 2010."
• In December 2010 the MIRBIS Youth Entrepreneurship Center was awarded the diploma and certificate in the contest "The Best Educational Centers of the Russian Federation" for high quality of education. Laureates of the contest are determined by the results of individuals and entities inquiries in the largest Russian cities.

• The Institute was awarded the prestigious "International Gold Quality Award" at the XIV International Quality Convention «QC 100» (London, UK).
