The Youth Entrepreneurship Center

The Youth Entrepreneurship Center of the MIRBIS University launches the project “The Development of the Youth Entrepreneurship Center” within the framework of the state contract with the department of entrepreneurship support in Moscow.

According to the prognosis of the European analysts, changes in the labor market after the world economic crisis, will demand advanced training of people. Special attention is paid to the increase of investments in the educational development and support of innovative activity. Taking into account, that long-term strategic aims till 2020 are the increase of student mobility and teaching quality and effectiveness, assistance to the active civil position in the field of education, innovative activity and creativity in all the educational levels and professional training, programmes for entrepreneurship training are elaborated and actively implement in the Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS.

The goal of the entrepreneurship training programmes is the forming of students’ understanding of the essence of entrepreneurship as one of the key competence of the development of both professional and personal qualities in a future businessman. The target audience of the programmes is rather large: those are pupils in the secondary school, just beginning to think over their career, students who are trying to tee off in business and adults who want to create and develop their own business.

Educational entrepreneurship programmes of MIRBIS aim at the development of the ability to turn ideas into actions. Education on the programmes helps to form creativity in students, to learn new creative ideas and to be ready to risk. We teach to plan your time, forces, set right aims and achieve those with maximum efficiency. All these skills help not only in work, but also in everyday life, being the base for special knowledge which is necessary for managers, directors and active participants of social and commercial activity. The programmes of our Center help to form a full understanding of business problems, which also include understanding of ethical and moral values.
During classes which are held in the atmosphere of vivid and exciting business games, with examples of personal and group projects creation, students learn to plan work, manage stuff, distribute and delegate authorities, analyze situations, communicate with each other, get and analyze information in the right way, evaluate and maintain records of project expenses, carry on negotiations and hold presentations. That is why most classes are in the interactive regime with public defense, presentation and discussions.
